From shards of ice in the Himalayas, the grandeur of Victoria Falls, the vitality of the Serengeti, to the land encountered amid the fierce winds of Tanzania. The sensations gained from roaming the world shaped a boy who longed to think and create like Da Vinci. Inspired by the story of the ‘rolling water drum’ for African women, the decision was made to become a designer, followed by a return to the homeland—Korea, a country with the highest suicide rate.
A world is envisioned where knowledge does not merely accumulate, but evolves into a life of virtuous purpose. In that pursuit, design was chosen as the most effective language to move people’s hearts. Having lived a dynamic nomadic life—never staying in one place for more than five years—the constant flux instead led to a deeper exploration of the unchanging essence of things, where meaningful and thoughtful design continues to be shaped.
